LATEX:
Milky white juice from rubber tree. Also-colloidal system of minute rubber particles suspended in water.
LIQUID INJECTION MOLDING:
A process for forming objects, as of plastic, rubber or metal, by heating the molding material to a fluid state and injecting it at high pressure into a mold, which is the inverse of the desired shape.
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM:
A press function to allow it to operate continuously under 10% of its maximum rated force, as well as to ensure a preheat function at reduced pressure.
LPMC:
Low Pressure Molding Compound - Composite material designed to be molded at reduced clamp pressures.
