Encapsulation of solenoid coils is a leading application, in which a transfer molded cap seals all the windings and the coil itself. Wabash presses perform compression molding or transfer molding for these applications. Wabash presses are also used extensively to mold cable ends for automotive, marine/underwater and other applications.
