The Wabash G50H-19-RASTM Hydraulic Compression Press

The vast majority of clients in the rubber industry use a hydraulic Wabash press for their production process. Specifically, the Genesis Hydraulic Compression Press for Rubber Testing by Wabash meets ASTM D3182 standards and is purposely designed to vulcanize rubber sheet samples. This machinery plays a vital preparatory role in ensuring rubber will meet ASTM D3182 testing standards. 

The G50H-19-RASTM model of the Genesis hydraulic compression press line produces ASTM standard rubber test slabs. It can accomplish this through the use of Accu-Heat Heat Tube Platens, which perform with accuracy and uniformity within a single degree Fahrenheit. Furthermore, the G50H-19-RASTM includes built-in lift truck tubes, a programmable controller and operator interface, clamp pressure relief valve and gauge, and an automatic bump. It also has a cycle counter, proximity switches and optional features such as a multi-channel data acquisition system to monitor and record clamp force and platen temperature (an air-cooled and heat exchanger). 

Platens specially designed for proper temperature uniformity and its self-contained hydraulic unit can be coupled with a contact gauge to ensure quiet operation and a low-pressure system able to perform between 2 to 50 tons successfully. The G50H-19-RASTM is a technological solution to the rubber industry’s vulcanization and testing demands.
